This week I wanted to try something new. I deeply appreciate all of you who take the time to read this blog and especially those who share their own thoughts in the comments. One of the down sides of blogging, or any other writing for that matter, Â is that you never get to listen to your readers. It would be wonderful to actually hear your voices.
With that in mind, this week I created a presentation on the 1927 science-fiction classic Metropolis. I did this using a program called Voice Thread. What is cool about Voice Thread is that not only does it allow you to create presentations that can include the presenter’s own audio comments; you can also open the presentation up to others so they can make audio comments as well.
So, if you’d like check out my presentation at:

Hope to hear from you. And this time I mean it literally.

I love the presentation. I couldn’t comment because I’m not registered there, but it’s great. Thanks for that.
Hi Carla,
Thanks for the positive feedback. I thought the problem might just be that the whole thing was lame ;>)
Voice Thread is pretty painless to register for, but if I reflect upon it, I don’t think I would have signed up for it myself were the shoe on the other foot- there’s way too much I’ve signed up for already.
Thinking of buying Pink Eye, by the way. Will let you know if I do.
Thanks Rick. If you’ll give me some kind of feedback on Pink Eye I’ll send you a copy of the ebook. I have not received many reviews, but those I have are generally pretty good, but it’s always nice to have another voice.
Thanks for the offer, Carla, but I think we should always support one another when we can, so I’ll buy the book. Might be until the end of the summer until I am able to give you some feedback, but I certainly will- one way or another.
Loved it too. I notice the restored version is streamable from Netflix so I may be watching it soon.
Thanks James!
Thanks for finally talking about >Metropolis, please share your voice « Utopia or
Dystopia <Loved it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great goods from you, man. I have bear in mind your stuff previous to and
you’re just extremely excellent. I really like what you’ve bought here, certainly like what you’re stating and the way in which through which you are saying it. You’re
making it enjoyable and you still take care of to keep it wise.
I can not wait to read much more from you.
That is really a terrific website.
